This hotel is not situated in Budapest but in the wonderful city of Eger!

Hotel Senator can be found in a delightful 18th century townhouse, situated on the historical
main square (Dobó tér) of Eger, and within a few yards of the castle ramparts.

We provide 11 rooms in the 250 year old historic building. We have our own sweet shop,
small restaurant. The thermal bath is a short distance away.

Hotel Senator House offers a friendly family atmosphere, and a perfect central location,
an ideal starting point for your outings into the town and its environs.

The town has something to offer everyone, historical monuments, the castle
- scene of the famous 1552 siege of Eger -
the thermal pools, wine cellars and various places of entertainment.

How to get there? 
By car: take the M3 out of Budapest toward Miskolc, until you come to the well-marked turn-off onto Highway 25 to Eger and Ózd. Eger is about 125 km from Budapest. Remember to get a sticker for the M3!
By bus: buses for Eger leave from the Népstadion at frequent intervals during the day, including 6 am, 8 am, 9.15 am, 10.15 am, 11 am, and 12.30 am.
By train: trains for Eger leave from Keleti station at 7.05 am, 7.25 am, 11.05 am, 3.05 pm, 4.30 pm, and 7.30 pm.
The journey take about two and a half hours by bus or train.
